Treat: Cinnamon Roll: MiniBon Roll (Cinnabon)

2019/12/24: A delicious treat for the holidays, which many families enjoy. The line was an hour long, but the filling sweetness was well worth the wait! (We had one as soon as we got home)

Treat: Milk Chocolates, Advent Calendar 2019 (Trader Joe's)

2019/12/01: The start of Advent and the patient waiting for Christmas is easier with a little treat to brighten the day. This calendar from Trader Joe's has a fun Elf Name Game on the back.

Fast Food: Drink: Chocolate Milk - Glug Glug, Milk Jug (McDonald's)

2019/12/02: It's not quite a Milk Shake but a little Chocolate Milk with a Cheeseburger is a nice treat.

Christmas Movie Watch List 2019

2019/12/01: The tree is up, the decorations hung and now it's time for Christmas movies! I love Christmas movies and plan on watching, one a day until the big day. Here is the run down of the movies I've watched this Christmas season (I will be updating this list often).

Breakfast: Cereal - Toasted Oats, Honey Nut (Kroger)

2019/11/25: The Kroger/Store Brand of a classic cereal has good flavor and an even better price. The Serving Size of 1 Cup means there is no need for calculations!

Breakfast: Cereal - Froot Loops (Kellog's)

2019/11/25: A fun "treat" Cereal that is not terribly high in sugar. Great for those weekend days after sleeping in a few extra hours.

Pizza: Combination (Wild Mike's - Frozen)

2019/11/23: Possibly the best froze pizza only made better by topping with the included spice packets (be forewarned, even the "Mild" Italian Spice packet has a bite to it).

Breakfast: Turkey Sausage Patties (Jimmy Dean - Fully Cooked)

2019/11/26: What better way to start Thanksgiving than with some Turkey Sausage? ...maybe add in a few Pancakes? ...with some warm Cider or Apple Tea?

Drink: Egg Nog (Kroger)

2019/11/28: One of the best Thanksgiving/Christmas/Holiday drinks, with or without Rum, for meals or a night cap. Delicious!

Treat: Hot Cocoa Cakebites (Elf on the Shelf)

2019/11/28: These are a fun treat that is great to share. The box has 4 Packages and each Package has 3 Cookies. The picture below shows one Cookie in the tray from the Package.

Treat: Ice Cream Sandwich - Pumpkin Pie (Kroger)

2019/11/27: Who doesn't love ice cream on a cold winter night? Throw in some Pumpkin Pie and it's a great mixed up treat on Thanksgiving eve.

Treat: Oreos (Winter Designs with Red Colored Creme)

2019/11/23: Great treat to be paired with a cold glass of milk. (It may be just me, but I feel that these Oreos soak up Milk faster than the regular ones.)

Treat: Red Vines (Red Licorice Twists)

2019/11/21: Coming in second to Popcorn for best Movie Treat: Red Vines. They are easy to share, good for Lightsaber battles or to use in place of paper/plastic straws.

Treat: Perfectly Pumpkin Cupcakes (Pillsbury Premium Cake Mix)

2019/11/17: Fun to bake and delicious to enjoy, but it is not always easy to accurately account for the nutritional content. So in this post the ingredients are listed and the results recorded for good measure. The mean, median and mode from elementary math classes finally make sense!

Chips: Pirate's Booty (Aged White Cheddar 1/2 oz Lunch Pack)

2019/08/19: These taste similar to Cheetos with a bit more refined flavor and improved ....
Each bag is a large portion that oys way more than enough for most lunches.

Dessert: Ice Cream - Dovebar Minis and Nestle Drumstick Minis

07/10/2018 - Perfect little dessert or treat on a hot day (or really anytime). The Nutrition Information for 1 Bar/Cone was listed on the packaging, making this entry a breeze with only a few minor calculations.

Breakfast: Frozen Waffles (Kroger)

2019/08/01: Quick, sweet and with plenty of topping options these are great for breakfast in a pinch.

Sandwich: Grilled Cheese

A warm, gooey and comforting sandwich; I learned that the best way to make a grilled cheese was to add the butter to the pan first (from the extras for the movie Chef - I used to just butter the bread).

Back at Long Last

This all started in 2012 as a way to explore interests and keep a record of some projects, but shortly thereafter life changed directions. The time commitment was more than I could spare, I lost focus then completely forgot it existed. I maintained some of the data tracking that began with this site, the Nerdist Way Character Tome, Nutrition/Water Intake/Sleep sheets, but did not post and let things slide.

Panera

The food is on the more expensive side of normal fare, but the meals and pastries are delicious. There is a comfort to the atmosphere in the restaurant that matches the menu - great place for a standard meal. Here are a few of the more enjoyable Meals and Selections I often select.
